Pilares de Ciencuevas Garnacha has received this year the highest distinction of the Gran Bacchus de Oro at the Bacchus 2022 International Wine Competition organized by the Spanish Union of Tasters.
Pilares de Ciencuevas Garnacha was released on the market in October 2021 as a limited edition of 8,780 bottles. In these few months, in addition to this award, it has also obtained a Gold Medal at the Mundus Vini International Competition, and an excellent score (91 Points) in the Report 2022 of the British master of wine Tim Atkin.
This wine has been made with Garnacha grapes, from old high-altitude vineyards owned by our winegrowers. It has been matured in oak barrels for 11 months and refined in the bottle for another 14. In this way we obtain an intense and fruity wine with elegant toasted notes that has a garnet color with cherry tones on the rim and an intense layer. On the nose it presents subtle aromas of spices and syrup, resulting in a silky mouthfeel, with warm tannins that invite repeated sips.
