Elaboration:
This wine is made from Tempranillo and Graciano grapes from our members’ best, most carefully selected vineyards. It is aged in American oak barrels for 12 months and then left to settle in the bottle until it is fully blended. Ciencuevas Crianza is now ready to be enjoyed in its full splendour.
Tasting:
In visual terms, it shows a pure intense cherry-red colour with a golden edge. Its fruity aroma of prunes and compote is accompanied by vanilla and slight hints of tobacco. It has a fresh entry on the palate with gently toasted oak, persistence and fine tannins.
Consumption:
It is best drunk at a temperature of no more than 18ºC, although this always depends on the ambient temperature. Ideal with red meats, game, cheese, ham and paté.
