Ciencuevas Garnacha is a single-variety wine made exclusively from Garnacha grapes grown in vineyards in historic wine-growing areas scattered throughout the mountains of Rioja Baja; areas in which our grape-farmers decided not to use other varieties and where these humble resistant vines have settled and thrived for over 40 years.

Elaboration:
Ciencuevas Garnacha is a single-variety wine made exclusively from Garnacha grapes grown in vineyards in historic wine-growing areas scattered throughout the mountains of Rioja Baja; areas in which our grape-farmers decided not to use other varieties and where these humble resistant vines have settled and thrived for over 40 years. The must is fermented for 8 days at 26ºC after which it spends approximately one month in an oak barrel to enhance its expression.
Tasting:
Wine with an intense cherry colour and floral, spicy aromas, which are meaty but fine on the mouth, with pleasant, persistent tannins.
Consumption:
Ideal to serve at between 16ºC and 18ºC together with dishes from our most popular gastronomy, always depending on the ambient temperature. It is recommended to store the wine away from light and at a fresh and regular temperature.
